We are located just 10 minutes from the A69, equidistant between Carlisle and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, in the historic and beautiful village of Allendale.

The nearest town is Hexham.

By public transport

Train: Nearest station Hexham - regular connections to Intercity rail network via Carlisle and Newcastle Upon Tyne

Bus: Allendale is on the 688 bus route from Hexham (approx 30 mins)

Air: Newcastle International airport (25 miles)

By road

From the north: From the west or east, take the A69 at Carlisle or Newcastle to Hexham. Follow signs to the town centre, through the high street and on until you come to traffic lights then turn left onto the B6305 to Allendale.

After approx 8 miles (15 km) you will pass through 'Catton' and enter the outskirts of the village of Allendale. Deneholme is located on the right hand side, on a bend just before you enter the village centre.

From the south west/midlands: Travel on the M6 to Carlisle then follow the directions to Hexham above.

From the south east/Yorkshire: Travel north on the A1(M). At Darlington turn off on to the A68 to Corbridge and join the A69 to Hexham, and then follow the directions from Hexham above.
